Michelle Rossy

Law Clerk

Michelle Rossy is a Law Clerk at Spar & Bernstein, PC, focusing on Immigration, Family, and Criminal Law. She holds an LL.M. from Fordham Law School, specializing in International Law & Justice, and has dual Civil and Common Law degrees from the University of Ottawa.

At Fordham, Michelle co-chaired the Fordham International Law Association, focusing on International Refugee/Immigration Law & Human Rights, and was active in the Immigration Advocacy Project and the Rule of Law Clinic. While in Canada, she gained experience in targeted sanctions work at the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights and refugee law at the Just Solutions legal clinic in Montreal.

With a passion for international human rights and refugee law, Michelle aims to strengthen the respect for international human rights standards in domestic courts and improve refugee resettlement policies in both Canada and the U.S. She is also a member of the International Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
